Face of the Day {27 March 2015}

Happy Friday!  If you follow me on  (and if you don’t, why not?!  😆 ), then you know I finally caved and bought the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I’ve been using it non-stop this past week, so I couldn’t wait to feature it in a Face of the Day. These colors are creamy, pigmented and they smell like chocolate – need I say more?!

EYES…It’s easy for me to fall into a neutral eye rut, so today I purposely chose shades I don’t normally reach for. From the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette I applied Champagne Truffle to the first quarter of my lid, Cherry Cordial to the center of my lid, and Triple Fudge to my crease. I placed a tiny bit of Milk Chocolate above my crease (while blending) and added Nior (from the Tamanna Palette) to my outer corner.

FACE…My go-to product in the spring, is the Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream. This stuff is amazing!  It’s full coverage, looks natural and it’s packed with skin loving ingredients. If you’re someone who dislikes traditional foundations, I highly suggest this product!

CHEEKS…For a pop of color on my cheeks, I reached for my LORAC Unzipped Palette. These shades are so pigmented and easy to blend! On the apples of my cheeks, I added a tiny bit of NARS Sex Appeal. This blush is really light, and acts more as a blending shade than a blush.

LIPS….I promise, I’m wearing a different nude lipstick than my last five Face of the Day’s! They all sort of look alike on me, but this one is Country Star from Too Faced. I believe it was limited edition, but the shade is gorgeous. It’s a milky pink nude that feels really comfy on the lips.
