Makeup & Beauty Empties Vol.15

in Beauty, Makeup on 05/01/19

I love me some empties! When you’ve got a beauty stash as big as mine, it’s always nice to actually use things up. Some of these are PR, but most I purchased myself. Like last time, I’ll be doing half my empties here, and the other half over on Instagram stories. There are a ton of products to go through, and that helps break it up a little. Let’s get to it!

MAKEUP & BEAUTY EMPTIES

FACE CLEANSERS

erno laszlo, first aid beauty

//ERNO LASZLO MULTI-PHASE MAKEUP REMOVER (6.8 OZ – $55)

This was featured in my previous empties as well, and up until recently it was my all time favorite makeup remover. But, I’ve since replaced it with something way more affordable (and available at the drugstore). I’ll be talking about that over on IG stories, so be sure to head there after reading this! You can click on my feed in the footer of my blog to get there  😀 This is still a fantastic product. It’s not greasy, and it’s really gentle and really effective at removing waterproof eye makeup. It’s just a tad out of my budget, so ta ta for now.

Repurchase? Not anytime soon.

//FIRST AID BEAUTY FACE CLEANSER (5 OZ – $21)

I’ve been using this for years, and have no plans on replacing it. It’s just a really great cleanser that’s simple, and perfect for use on my sensitive skin. There aren’t any harsh acne fighters, or drying sulfates, and it’s fragrance free. I love it!

Repurchase? Of course!

BODYCARE

bodycare empties

//NATIVE DEODORANT (2.65 OZ – $12)

This is one of the best natural deodorants I’ve tried, and as you know I’ve tried a ton (read about that here and here). It doesn’t dry out my pits (like Schmidt’s), and it actually keeps me stink free. I occasionally sweat through it, so on my busy days I still reach for Secret, but for the most part I use this exclusively.

Repurchase? I have a stock pile already!

//FRESH BATH & SHOWER GEL (10 0Z – $20)

I love love love this body wash! It smells heavenly! It’s like a burst of citrus exploded in your shower – but not in a sticky sweet or headache inducing way. The two scents, Sugar and Citrus are extremely close, so it’s kind of hard to tell them apart. But, they both smell really fresh. They lather great on loofas, and they don’t dry out my skin (which is really rare for body washes). I’ve gone through three of these, and I have a 4th in my shower. It’s that good!

Repurchase? Absolutely!

//FRESH SUGAR BODY OIL (3.4 OZ – $48)

Another amazing Fresh bodycare product! This lemon scented body oil is a must for dry skin. It’s not heavy, and it soaks in really quickly. Best of all, it leaves skin so soft and hydrated, and smelling like fresh lemons. I ran out of this, and was so sad. Only down side, the bottle is lux and glass, so I don’t recommend it for travel.

Repurchase? Can’t wait to buy again!

//SKINFIX HAND REPAIR CREAM (3 OZ – $18)

My favorite hand cream of life! This baby is clinically proven to soothe and heal dry cracked hands, and is specifically formulated to target eczema. It has been a life saver for my hands this winter. Another perk is the package has an expiration date, so you never apply expired product!

Repurchase? Already have!

HAIRCARE

kerastase shampoo and conditioner

//KERASTASE DISCIPLINE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER ($33  & $40)

I wanted to try Kerastase for years, and so I was extremely stoked when they asked me to be part of their PR list. Ummm, heck yes! This duo was the very first product they sent over, and I was immediately hooked. The smell is insanely good, and they cleanse and hydrate so luxuriously. I now understand the hype!

Repurchase? Yes!

SKINCARE

erno laszlo skincare

//FRESH SUGAR LIP BALM (0.15 OZ – $26)

If you’re new around here, let me introduce you to my must have lip product. This balm is pricey, but so worth it! It’s hydrating, long lasting, and one of the only balms I’ve repurchased over and over. Over 12 years ago, I got my friends hooked on this, and now I’m fortunate enough to be on their PR list. It was a dream to work with a brand that I loved for years, so don’t let the fact that I got this for free deter you. It’s seriously amazing!

Repurchase? Always!

//ERNO LASZLO HYDRA-THERAPY BOOST SERUM (1 OZ – $98)

erno laszlo hydra-boost serum

Skincare is an investment, but sometimes the high price tags are a shock. Erno Laszlo is the most expensive skincare line I feature on the blog, but one that I fell hard and fast for. Each product I have tried has blown me away, and absolutely justified the price. The Hyra-Boost serum was no exception, I was obsessed with this! It feels so nourishing and hydrating on my dry skin, but without feeling sticky or heavy. I missed it so much when I ran out!

Repurchase? Only on their site, since they offer installment payments. You can get this for 4 payments of $24.50 – interest free!

//ERNO LASZLO PHELITYL NIGHT CREAM (1.7 OZ – $126)

I told you this line was pricey. Ohhhh gosh does this hurt, because this is hands down the best face cream I’ve ever tried. It’s thick, emollient, and just what my skin begs for after cleansing. I’m not sure oily skin types would like this, since the texture is so thick, but it might be worth a try. Plus, you can get it for 4 payments of $31.50, which helps make the price a little more bearable. I received this in PR, so I was totally unaware of what it cost until I went to buy it again.

Repurchase? Would love to, but not yet for price reasons.

//BELIF HUNGARIAN WATER ESSENCE (2.53 OZ – $42)

If the Hydra-Boost serum mentioned above is out of your price range, this is a really great alternative. It’s light like a serum, and instantly leaves skin soft and full of moisture. I’ve gone through two of these, and really enjoy it. I apply it after cleansing, and before moisturizer.

Repurchase? Yes!

//BELIF CREAMY MOISTURIZER DEEP MOIST (4.22 OZ – $38)

This is another great product from Belif. I use it in the morning mixed with my SPF, and I love how light and easy to apply it is. It wears beautifully under makeup, and although it’s not heavy it still hydrates nicely.

Repurchase? Definitely!

//FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR MINERAL SUNSCREEN (2 OZ – $30)

Speaking of SPF, the one I love to use (and the one I’ve been using the longest) is the First Aid Beauty mineral sunscreen. It’s free of chemicals, and although it contains Zinc Oxide, it’s not hard to blend. I mix with my with Belif moisturizer each and every day, and even under makeup. It doesn’t cause breakouts, and my eczema reacts really well to the physical sunscreens in this (Titanium Dioxide 6.3% and Zinc Oxide 4.6%).

If you’re still reading this, you’re a rockstar! But, seriously thanks so much for reading through my trash and be sure to let me know what items you recently used up! Also, don’t forget to head to Instagram for the second half of my empties! If it’s not in my current stories, then it’s under my profile in the EMPTIES highlight.
