As promised, I’m back with more natural deodorants that actually work. Last month I talked about 5 formulas that keep me dry and fresh. Today, I’ve got three more to share. If you’re looking to update your routine with a healthier deodorant, then you’ll love these picks!
CRYSTAL 24HR INVISIBLE SOLID
I’ll start with the two I received from PR. The newly packaged Crystal deodorants are so pretty, you’ll want to display them on your vanity. Each scent is light and pleasant, and the formula glides on easily. There’s no tugging or pulling at delicate underarms, and it’s clear so you don’t have to worry about white marks. Just don’t apply too much, then it can leave a little white cast in your underarm creases.
As for how good it works, I really like it! However, it’s important to note that each natural deodorant has it’s own special formula. So, it can take a while for your body to adjust to each one. With this, it took my body about a week, so at first I was sweating through it. But, after about 6 days I began to stay dry, and now it’s all I’ve been using for weeks. The formula is gentle, doesn’t cause itchiness, and even when I had breakthrough sweat it kept me stink free.

KOPARI COCONUT OIL DEODORANT
This is sooo good! The formula is clear, glides on easily, and actually keeps you dry. However, after using it exclusively for a few months my underarms suddenly got a red rash. It wasn’t itchy or painful, but my skin was bright red…in the exact areas I was applying it. I switched to something else, and the redness quickly disappeared. So, I’m not sure if I’m allergic to this 🙁 But, I’m still recommending it because it worked great, and I only saw one other commenter on Sephora say it made their pits red too (boo for us). It doesn’t seem like a common reaction, so I do suggest giving it a try!
- Retail Price: $14 (2 oz)
- Available at Sephora, Nordstrom, & koparibeauty.com
LAVANILA NATURAL DEODORANT (ELEMENTS COLLECTION)
If you read my original natural deodorants post, then you know I talked about the OG Lavanila deodorant. It works really great at keeping me dry, but it can be a little too effective (meaning my underarms get dry skin). So, I thought I’d try their new elements collection to see if it was different, and it literally has the exact same ingredients. FAIL! haha
I decided to test it anyway, and my underarms actually didn’t get too dry. I credit that to the fact that I’ve been using aluminum-free deodorants for nearly a year, so my body seems to favor these formulas now (over the harsher ones I was using before). Just be aware, that other than the packaging, this is no different than their original (even the scent is the same).
- Retail Price: $14 (2 oz)
- Available at Sephora & ULTA
If you’re scared to make the switch from traditional anti-perspirants, don’t be! There are so many amazing formulas at all different price points. At first, you might experience a “detox” phase, but once your body adjusts to these gentler formulas you’ll never go back. You’ll stay dry and fresh, and you won’t have to worry about the potential impacts on your health.
Have you made the switch to aluminum free formulas? I’d love to hear why or why not!

Same thing happened to me with the Kopari. 🙁
Oh no! I read through a few pages of reviews on the sephora site, and only saw one other with the issue. If it’s a known problem, I hope they change their formula to fix it. I really liked it 🙁
Very useful post. It is very important to follow the steps as
a routine. Like appointment with a beautician and hotspot4beauty make this work

I think my body changed also.. randomly, I knew I had a long/hot day ahead of me so I just decided to use my Secret deo one day and I smelled SO bad at the end of the day compared to when I just used Schmidts. SO WEIRD!
