It’s that time again! I absolutely love watching/reading monthly favorites, it’s such a fun way to learn about new products. I don’t post my favorites every single month, because I honestly don’t change up my routine enough to do that. But, lately I’ve been reaching for some new beauties that have quickly become staples in my collection.
L’Occitane Cleansing & Softening Shower Oil– I professed my love for this in my last empties post, and it’s still a must-have for me. It smells amazing, leaves my skin incredibly soft, and doesn’t feel oily or greasy. I also recently discovered that this works awesome as a shave oil!
Burberry Blush in No. 06 Tangerine – This is my first experience with Burberry beauty, and it definitely won’t be my last. Tangerine is the perfect peachy pink shade that pairs well with any look. The result is effortless and natural, it’s all I’ve been wearing lately! (see the blush here in my last FOTD)
Lavanilla The Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Grapefruit – I’ve been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that actually works. One that doesn’t smell like skunk (ahem Jason) and one that keeps me dry. After having a bad experience with Crystal Deodorant, I decided to give Lavanilla a try. I’m not too crazy for the scent, as it doesn’t smell anything like the sweet citrusy name, but it works so well at keeping me dry and stink free. If this stuff can work in the humid south, than I believe it can work anywhere!
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer – This delicious smelling matte bronzer has been my go-to cheek product for most of the summer. It leaves behind a gorgeous natural bronzed glow that’s never muddy or orange looking. It’s a bit on the dark side though, so I’ll most likely go back to using the Milk Chocolate version in the fall.
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée – I discovered these glosses in my July Ipsy bag and instantly fell in love. The formula is creamy, the finish is opaque and my lips are left soft and hydrated. The shade from my Ipsy bag is a bit too pale on me, so I purchased this shade at ULTA and it’s all I’ve reaching for. It reminds me a lot of MAC’s Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait, except it’s a fraction of the price.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz – This gorgeous highlight was on my Sephora wish list for years before I finally gave in and purchased it. As soon as I opened the compact, I thought to myself why the heck did I wait so long! This highlight leaves behind the most insane sheen, without looking shimmery or greasy. A teeny tiny bit goes a long way, and you can even use this on your eyes as well. Now that I know what all the hype is about, I want to run out and buy them all!
It Cosmetics Double Ended Concealer/Foundation Brush – I received this in a Today’s Special Value set from QVC, and love how soft and dense the bristles are. The foundation side, reminds me a lot of Sephora’s Airbrush Foundation brush. It’s soft, but still firm enough to apply powder foundation evenly. The smaller concealer side works great at applying cream products to the eye area, or for blending concealer around the nose and mouth.
That’s all for my favorites, I promise not to wait 6 months between my next one! In the meantime let me know what you’ve been loving lately!
*Everything mentioned in this post was purchased by me.
That It Cosmetics brush looks AMAZING! Ugh, always so tempted by their brushes.
I don’t know how much they go for individually, but this one I highly recommend! I saw more brushes of theirs at ULTA and I wanted them all!
Oh same! I stalk the “What’s New” page on Ulta’s site all the time and keep seeing the new brushes. They look SO soft. 🙂
Vanilla Grapefruit has got to be the weirdest combo of scents I’ve ever heard. Great photos & descrips!

Yes, it certainly is an odd combo! So glad you liked my post! xo
I have been wanting to try that deodorant for a while and I think I will now be making the leap to natural deodorant. 🙂 Love the post girl!
It’s a good one! Plus, they offer smaller travel size ones as well. Let me know how you like it! xo
I will!
