Fresh is one of my favorite beauty brands! Long before I ever received PR from them, I was obsessed with their Sugar Lip Balm. Fast forward over a decade, and now I’ve got a ton of Fresh products in my lineup. Rather than talk about them here and there, I decided to put all my go-to’s in one post. If you’re wanting to try the brand, be sure to check out these babies first!
FRESH BODY CARE
Most people think of skincare when it comes to Fresh, but they’ve also got a great lineup of body care (and even fragrance) products as well. One of my all time favs is the Black Tea Age-Delay Body Cream. It has the most heavenly fresh scent, and it glides on so silky. It absorbs quick, doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue, and it leaves skin feeling extra hydrated. It’s quite pricey, so I used it sparingly, but if budget isn’t an issue I highly suggest it! Mine is empty (boo), but I’d definitely buy this again!
A more affordable lotion is the Citron de Vigne. This also smells so light and fresh, and leaves my skin feeling amazing. I have seriously dry itchy skin, so I’m extra picky about my lotions. But, Fresh really hits it out of the park with their body care formulas. They are moisturizing, without feeling heavy, and they actually work to hydrate skin.
Also in the Citron de Vigne family, is this amazing body wash. Usually I stay far away from scented body washes, because they really wreck havoc on dry skin, but this one is really soothing. It doesn’t cause any dryness, and it washes away without residue. The formula lathers into a frothy foam (with a loofa), and it works great for shaving as well. It has the same soft scent as the lotion (a little sweet with a hint of lemony citrus), and it lingers on the skin. My husband always tells me how great I smell when I use it. Best of all, it’s got a wallet friendly price of just $20. Since you need so little with each use, this baby lasts quite a while!
FRESH SKINCARE
A newer Fresh launch is the Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream. Formulated with antioxidant super lotus, this baby packs a serious moisture punch – without any dreaded side effects like greasiness or breakouts. Like most Fresh products, it’s got a beautiful soft fragrance, but it’s not irritating to the skin. The texture is lightweight and creamy, and feels amazing on top of toners and oils.
Next are two eye creams I adore. First, is the Lotus Eye Gel. I reach for this every morning, and love its lightweight texture. It’s refreshing, hydrating, and wears great under makeup. I didn’t realize until recently that it actually contains a retinol, so be mindful if you’re pregnant or nursing. Since retinol’s should be in opaque containers (not clear), I’m not sure how potent this is, but I love how it makes my under eyes feel otherwise.
The next eye cream is one I cannot see myself ever being without. The Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate is heaven in a jar! It’s rich, thick, and super emollient – but not in a greasy way. I absolutely love how it feels on my dry under eyes. I am prone to dry patches in my orbital area, and this does a great job at clearing it up and preventing bumpy texture. If you’re over 30 and needing a new eye cream, definitely try this!
FRESH SKINCARE TREATMENTS
There are so many incredible picks in the Fresh skincare lineup, so I only chose the ones I absolutely cannot be without. This list does change from time to time, as they release new products, but for the most part this is my standard go-to.
The very first mention is the Rose Face Mask. I have given this so much love on Instagram, so many of you are probably tired of hearing it. But, it’s so so good!! It has a gel texture that feels cooling on the skin, and it contains real rose petals. All you gotta do is slather it on (with a brush), and wash it off 10 minutes later. Your skin will feel soft, look bright, and feel like velvet. I ran out of my full size jar, so for now I’m using this travel size.
I am obsessed with oils! On my bathroom vanity I must have over six right now, but I reach for the Fresh Seaberry oil the most. It’s super rich and hydrating, and instantly makes you look like a greased chicken 😛 I love it! But, only for nighttime use. It’s great for use after treatments like toners or retinol, to add much needed hydration back to the complexion. Oils aren’t breakout proof though, so I advise you to test these with caution. This particular one has never caused breakouts, but the Marula Oil from Drunk Elephant has. So, just be weary.
The last treatment I’m going to mention is a favorite among bloggers. The Black Tea Kombucha Facial Essence is so calming and hydrating, my skin loves it! It reminds me a lot of the Belif face essence, only in liquid form. A little of this goes a long way, and its best applied after cleansing, but before oils or creams. It has a non-offensive scent, and can be used both morning and night.
FRESH MAKEUP
I don’t really consider this makeup, but we’ll just call it that for the sake of this post 😉 The Fresh Sugar Lip Balms are the very first product I fell in love with from this brand, and I still use them over ten years later! They are soothing, hydrating, and even contain an SPF for summer. Back in the day, there was only one option available, but now there are in an advanced version (my fav), as well as tinted and scented. I have one of these in every room of the house, and in most of my purses. It contains jojoba, grape seed oil, and avocado oil for super soft lips. I’m addicted!
Finally, is a fragrance for all you rose lovers! I didn’t even know Fresh carried scents, but they sent this to me and I was instantly hooked. The bottle is simple and classic, just like the fragrance itself. It smells like an actual bouquet of roses, but, it’s not offensive or too sweet. I’m not doing any justice to this gorgeous fragrance, but if you love roses you need to check this out!
