There comes a time in every makeup addicts life, when they stumble upon the perfect product. If you’re a regular around here, then you know I have a few concealers that I swear by. But, I’ve recently discovered the coveted Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complexion Concealer, and now I can’t imagine using anything else!
Retailing for $29 (0.16 oz), this creamy concealer is formulated to provide buildable weightless coverage. It comes in 14 shades, and is packaged in a glass tube, with a doe foot applicator. The creamy formula promises to prevent dehydration, while also brightening the complexion.
Urban Decay was kind enough to send over the entire shade range, so I’ve got lots of swatches for you!
NAKED SKIN WEIGHTLESS COMPLEXION CONCEALER
“This concealer is enriched with Matrixyl 3000, which contains peptides to support the skin’s youthful appearance and elasticity, and Japanese green tea revitalizes and helps reduce the look of fine lines”
For my dry, 30-something under eyes, I have two requirements: a hydrating formula, and a creamy texture. Since I’m dry, I don’t worry much about creasing or fading, but this concealer has all of that covered. It’s weightless, blends like a dream, covers beautifully, and actually helps the skin retain moisture.
As far as shades go, I’m in between a few. For basic concealing, without brightening, medium-light neutral works great. If I want to add a touch of brightness to my under eyes, Light is my go-to. But, I can also get away with medium-light warm as well.
As you can see from the below swatches, the three shades I’m in-between are really similar to each other. There’s only a hair of difference between them, so if you happen to guess wrong on your best match, you won’t be too far off.
SWATCHES
Thanks to my mama brain, I totally forgot to include the shade Med-Light Neutral (it was downstairs in my office). So, I decided to swatch it with the shade before it and after it – to show you all how close they are to each other.
As you can see, there really isn’t much difference between these three, so I can get away with using all of them. If you’re budget doesn’t allow for buying three shades (because who’s does), then I suggest swatching in person!
I know I’m late on these, but I am so impressed with the formula! If you’re like me (living under a rock), and haven’t tried these yet, then I highly suggest you do! The formula, the packaging, the color range, it’s all so good!
