I’m sharing #Shortlist in my life as part of a Shortlist sponsored series for Socialstars™ #lessismore
It’s time for another Shortlist skincare check in! Back in June, I introduced you all to this innovative new line, which focuses on simple (yet powerful) ingredients. Today, I’m back to chat about my 8 week results!
LESS IS MORE WITH SHORTLIST SKINCARE
You can read about these products in-depth in my first, and second posts, but here’s a quick recap. Shortlist is an effective, yet gentle, skincare line created with only the finest ingredients. There’s no fillers, dyes, parabens, or fragrance – what’s inside is what works, and that’s it!
The line is simple, there’s a hydrating serum, and a retinoid cream. When used together, they help fight fine lines, boost skins moisture, and repair damage. They are formulated for use on all skin types, and promise to deliver brighter, younger looking skin. I’ve been using them every day for two months, and my results have been great!
MY ROUTINE
The first step in this two part line, is the serum. It’s packed with skin loving ingredients like Niacinamide, Glycerin, and Hyaluronic acid. The formula is lightweight, non-sticky, and delivers a blast of hydration. After cleansing, I apply 2 pumps all over my face and neck, making sure to pat not rub. It can be used both morning and night, and wears beautifully under makeup without feeling heavy.
Next, I apply a dime size amount of the Smoothing Cream all over my face, neck. and decollate. This cream is formualted with Retinyl Propionate and Glycerin, which work together to fight aging, while also delivering intense hydration. Although it contains retinol, it’s extremely gentle on my sensitive skin, but be sure to pair with an SPF in the AM.
AFTER 8 WEEKS…
As I mentioned in my previous update, my skin has seen tremendous change with this duo. Prior to starting Shortlist, I suffered from persistent red, itchy bumps on the side of my my face. I chalked it up to nursing hormones, but upon weaning, they didn’t go away – until I started this duo. Not only does my skin feel more hydrated (no more dry patches), but the redness has significantly improved, and the bumps are finally started to fade!
Like the name suggests, these products contain just a shortlist of ingredients. In fact, the cream contains only 9, while the serum has 11. Combined, that’s still less than the average product, which contains over 30! With continued use, skin not only feels softer and more hydrated, but it actually starts to act younger. What else can you ask for 😉
You can purchase each product for $34 on the Shortlist website, so be sure to check it out! In the meantime, I’ll be back one again next month with the conclusion of my Shortlist experience!
Are you in need of a simplified skincare routine? I’d love to know!
This looks like a skincare system I would benefit from. Seems like a little goes a long way.
This skincare line sounds phenomenal! It has all ingredients I look for to nourish my skin! Anti aging prevention is huge to me. I love my skin to be at its best at all times and the Shortlist line sounds like it can get it done.
I’ve seen such improvement! And with the lowered cost of $34/each, it’s not too expensive! 🙂
