I’m sharing #Shortlist in my life as part of a Shortlist sponsored series for Socialstars™ #lessismore
It’s time to get simple with our skincare! Products today can be complex and confusing, but Shortlist believes that less is more. This all new premium skincare line is formulated with only the finest ingredients. There’s no fillers, fragrance, or unnecessary additives. I’ve got all the scoop on this innovative new line, so let’s get started!
LESS IS MORE
Looking at the back of skincare products can be scary. The majority have over 30 ingredients, but most of us have no idea what they do. To simplify things, Shortlist created two products that contain only what’s proven and beneficial. What’s inside is a short list – get it 😉 of easy to understand ingredients. What’s left out are unnecessary fillers, like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and colorants.
The lineup includes a hydrating serum, and a powerful retinoid cream. On their own, they each pack a powerful punch, but when used together they help skin look and feel brighter, more youthful, and more even toned. In addition, the hydrating effects of the serum make it so even sensitive skin can use the retinoid cream.
SHORTLIST SERUM
First up, is the Shortlist serum. You’ll want to use this before the cream, and after skin has been cleansed. It’s packed with loving hydrators like Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), to help strengthen skin’s moisture barrier. With continued use, it goes to work to repair damage, and sooth dry skin. Best of all, there’s just 11 ingredients in total!
To use, simply apply a thin later to your face, neck, and décolléte both morning and night. The formula is fast-absorbing, and the texture is thin and silky for easy application. What makes it especially unique, is not only does it hydrate, but it also helps prep the skin for the Smoothing Cream.
SHORTLIST SMOOTHING CREAM
The next step, is the Smoothing Cream. This potent moisturizer is formualted to reduce the appearance of fine lines, and diminish the look of uneven skin. It’s formualted with Retinyl Propionate (Vitamin A) to prevent aging, and Glycerin to provide moisture. It can be used both morning and night, but you’ll want to use a separate SPF to prevent sun sensitivity. Like the serum, it contains just a few simple ingredients – only 9 to be exact!
When it comes to wrinkle prevention, there’s no better skincare weapon than Vitamin A. It not only prevents (and repairs) the look of fine lines, it also brightens and smooths. Although many retinoid treatments have harsh side effects, the Shortlist Smoothing Cream is formualted with hydrating Glycerin, making it great for all skin types. The formula is thick and creamy, and is designed to leave skin feeling smooth and restored.

This new duo with great ingredients but no unnecessary ingredients sounds absolutely fabulous. I love how they look too. I’d love to try them both
I’m so happy brands are starting lines without too many ingredients, for sensitive skin like mine it’s amazing!
I love the name and concept! Both of these seem well-worth trying, and the ingredients sound top-notch!
The name is clever! 😉 I love how simple they are, some products have scary long ingredient lists!
I’ve tried so many different skincare products but have never heard of this line. The products that you’re trying sound like some that I’d like. I like the limited number of ingredients in these too!
