Hooray, holiday sets have arrived! This is my favorite time of year for makeup, because there are so many amazing palettes, duos, trios, and even quartettes to choose from. Brands from all price points get into the holiday spirit, and Pixi Beauty is no exception. This year, they released a contour kit, lipstick quartette, and the item I’m going to be talking about – the Endless Silky Eye Pen Quartette.

Retailing for $18 at Target stores and pixibeauty.com, this limited edition set comes with “four bestselling, award-winning, richly-pigmented gel eyeliners.” They are formulated to be waterproof, for all day long lasting wear.

The shades included are Black Noir, Black Cocoa, Deep Plum and Slate Gray. Each pencil is intensely pigmented, and glides onto the lids without tugging or dragging. The shades are appropriate to wear all year round, but are particularly flattering for dark holiday looks.

All four pencils have the same buttery texture that sets quickly, and doesn’t budge or flake. Though if you wanted to smudge it across the lash line, it’s really easy to do so, just as long as you don’t wait too long after application.

One draw back to these pencils, is their creamy textures require frequent sharpening. So, I don’t see these travel sizes lasting an incredibly long time. On the flip side, it’s the creamy texture that makes them a breeze to apply and a joy to use. For a little over $4 a pencil, you’re getting high end quality, at a super affordable price. You can’t beat that!

Black Noir is an intense matte black with a creamy texture. It applies beautifully, and before it sets, it's easy to smudge across the lash line. It wears all day, and doesn't budge, flake, or travel, and it's super easy to remove. Black Cocoa is a rich warm brown that looks gorgeous on the upper or lower lash line. The texture is buttery smooth, and doesn't smudge or fade throughout the day. Deep Plum is a blackened plum that has the same creamy, long wearing texture as the others. It's my favorite shade of the bunch, as it really makes my brown eyes pop! Slate gray is an easy to wear gray liner, that is unlike any other shade I own. If you’re looking for some new liners to spice up your makeup drawer, I highly suggest the Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen Quartette. Each shade is smooth, highly pigmented, and they last all day without winding up on your lower lash line – unless you purposely put it there 😉

  10. I’ve been wearing these and have a review on them coming up. My favorite is the SlateGray since it’s almost impossible to find a gray liner that’s not really black disguised as gray.
