Happy Friday! As I mentioned in my Esqido review, August is one of the most popular months for weddings. So, I thought it would be fun to feature a few another bridal makeup look, to go along with the drugstore look I featured a few months ago. EYES…After priming my lids, I reached for my Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture Palette (review coming soon). I applied Pink Champagne to the first half of my lid, Bellini to the outer half, Morocco in crease/transition, and fudge in outer corner. Pink champagne is a little chunky, so I recommend using it with a little MAC Fix +, or plain water will work as well.
I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Double-Ended Liner in Crave/Venus to line my upper lash line and highlight my inner corner. Then, I applied a tiny bit of Pink Champagne on top of Venus, for a little added shimmer. I lined my water line with a Makeup For Ever liner, and applied mascara to my top and bottom lashes. Estée Lauder Sumptuous Infinite mascara will smudge on the lower lashes, so I don’t suggest it for your big day!
I finished off the eyes with a pair of stunning Esqido false lashes in Oh So Sweet. These lashes are long, flirty, and fluttery, and are sure to compliment any bridal look. They are lightweight and really comfy, so you don’t have to worry about any irritation or discomfort, and they will last you long past your wedding day because you can wear them up to 25 times!
FACE…To ensure my makeup stays put all day, I applied a primer from NYX, then reached for my favorite full coverage foundation from Laura Mercier. This foundation was created for photography, and it stays put all day, so it’s an excellent wedding choice! Then, I set my face with an Urban Decay Finishing Powder, and a few spritzes of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water.
CHEEKS…I wanted this look to be soft and glowy, so I chose a really wearable bronzer from Tarte. It’s waterproof, and lasts all day, so it’s great for special events. I topped it off with my favorite Tarte blush in Peaceful, and then used some BECCA highlight in Opal. BECCA is the queen of highlighters, they are luminous and glowy, and look phenomenal on all skin types!
LIPS…Of course being the lover of nude lips, I decided to go with a soft peachy pink. It’s flattering, natural, and most importantly it won’t leave obvious marks on your grooms face 😉
This bridal makeup look is natural and soft, and it doesn’t look heavy or mask-like, which is something a lot of brides prefer. I hope you liked it! 🙂
Interested in a more matte eye? Then stay tuned for my second bridal makeup look, coming up next week!

Just the sound of Pink Champagne gets me interested! I love bronzy looks for any occasion. Beautiful as always!
It’s pretty much the reason I wanted the palette! LOL It’s so pretty, a little chunky though. But nothing a little water can’t fix!
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you! 🙂
Absolutely beautiful, your eye makeup is just stunning x
Thanks so much!
You look amazing! What a great look for brides as well!
Thanks! I tried to do something that’s not super dramatic, yet still photographs nicely 🙂
I love nyx Angel Veil. Your look is beautiful
I’ve only had it a short time, but so far I’m really liking it!
This makeup look is so incredibly beautiful. I’m going to try a coral shade as my transition colour next time I do my eyeshadow!! I have tried Esqido lashes myself and adore them xxx
So glad you liked it! Corals and red toned brows look so pretty as transitions, they add great warmth to any look! 🙂
After seeing MAC Pure Zen on you in another post I tracked it down since it’s my kind of color. It’s lighter on me than on you though so I’m going to play with liners.
I lips are pretty pigmented, so it’s not too concealing on me. But, I also love to pair it with light pink glosses. NARS orgasm gloss, MAC Boy Bail, or CK One Tender Gloss all give a pinker look to Pure Zen!
Stunning look, Julie! I’ve used Pink Champagne numerous times already but I haven’t paired it with Bellini, need to try this combination. x
Mummy’s Beauty Corner
So far, I can’t put down this palette! Let me know if you pair them together! 🙂
