As I mentioned in my last post, I’ll be traveling for the next few weeks and won’t have much time to get ready each morning. So, I’ll need to create looks that are quick and easy, and this smokey eye is just that. All it takes is a few products, and you’re out the door with a sultry eye that’s perfect for a night out!
FACE:
- BECCA Ever Matte Shine Proof Foundation in Buttercup
- NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard
- Laura Mercier Universal Loose Setting Powder
- Makeup For Ever Mist + Fix
EYES/BROWS:
- Tarte Amazonian Clay Volumizing Brow Powder in Rich Brown
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel
- LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
- bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Shadow in (Elegant Taupe)
- Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
- Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Crave
- Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
- Kiss Lashes in Pretty
CHEEKS:
- NARS Laguna Bronzer
- MAC Tenderling Blush
LIPS:
- MAC Pure Zen Lipstick
- MAC Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait
EYES…The shining star of this look is the bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Cream Eyeshadow. This tiny guy came in an Ipsy bag, and I absolutely love it! It’s opaque and creamy, and it’s completely budge proof. I applied it all over my lids, up to my crease. Then, I placed Milk Chocolate from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette in my crease, and Crave from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette in my outer v.
I lined my eyes with Crave from Urban Decay, then placed Semi Sweet on my lower lash line. For a pop of radiance in my inner corner, I used the Urban Decay’s 24/7 Liner in Venus, then applied some natural falsies from Kiss.
FACE…For my complexion I applied BECCA’s Ever Matte Shine Proof foundation with a dampened beauty blender, then concealed any areas of discoloration with my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I set it all with some translucent powder from Laura Mercier, and a few sprays of the Makeup For Ever Mist + Fix.
CHEEKS…I kept my cheeks super natural today, applying some NARS Laguna bronzer to my entire face in a 3E pattern. Then, I placed a really neutral blush from MAC on the apples of my cheeks.
LIPS…Again, to keep things simple I went with a nude lipstick from MAC called Pure Zen and paired it with my favorite neutral pink lip gloss in Boy Bait.
I hope you enjoyed this simple smokey eye! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

After reading this, I really wanna get that Pure Zen lippy, such a gorgeous colour xxx
Isn’t it so pretty?! I’ve gone through three tubes, and always have a backup on hand!
Beautiful look! You look stunning, as always.
Aw, thank you Vivienne! 🙂
So pretty! I Love the lip color 🙂
Thanks! Pure Zen has always been one of my favorites!
You look so beautiful. It’s hard to believe this is a quick look.
Thank you! It’s such a simple way to achieve a smokey look!
I absolutely love the colour of your eyeshadow, it is stunning x
Thank you! 🙂
This is such a perfect look! It came out gorgeous!
Thank you! It’s been my go-to look for when I don’t have much time!
This is a beautiful everyday look! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it! 🙂
The way you apply bronzer/blush/highlighter is positively ethereal. I wish Laguna looked like that on me. Love the eye makeup.
Aw, thank you! It’s all about the Ita brush 😉
That Too Faces mascara is my favourite one at the minute, it’s brilliant!
You look lovely 🙂
I agree, it’s a great formula!
Another stunning look <3 I love Too Faced Chocolate bar palette as well. Its so easy to create a makeup look with it x
Laura
Pink Frenzy
Plus, you can’t beat its yummy smell! 🙂
You look splendid! 🙂 I loved the look. 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
So pretty and simple! I love the little bit of winged liner it adds some fun!
Thank you! Winged liner is always iffy for me – it either comes out great, or awful haha
I love this look. It’s so great for a basic look and can be spruced up with so many different little pieces of color or different liners. Love it!
So glad you like it! 🙂
The whole look is stunning, but that lip combo is calling my name. Also, I love using Venus on my inner corners, too.
The lip combo has been a long time favorite of mine, I highly suggest! 🙂
Your eye make-up is just stunning, I love it! I really want to try the Becca foundation, too – your skin looks gorgeous <3

Becca foundations are great! I had a sample of the ultimate coverage foundation, and the finish is gorgeous!
For a simple look it looks gorgeous! I wish I’d gotten a sample of that bareMinerals shadow but I wasn’t getting Ipsy at the time! I’ll have to check it out at some point.
It was definitely one of the best Ipsy samples I got. It’s really opaque and easy to work with!
beautiful! whats your thoughts on the becca foundation? ive been wanting to try it for a while now
I love becca foundations, but they are pretty high coverage. If applied with a beauty blender, they look gorgeous, but they can look cakey if applied with a brush. This one has great lasting power, so I always use it for events!
Your face is 24/7 flawless.
