Happy Hump Day! Today’s post is about some false lashes that have quickly made their way to my must-have list. Last fall, I discovered the House of Lashes lash adhesive, and for the first time I was able to wear falsies without any irritation. Fast forward to today, and I’m officially addicted to their lashes as well!
Retailing for just $7 at houseoflashes.com, these lashes are some of the prettiest I’ve ever owned. The quality is great, and they cost less than the Ardell lashes at my local Target – plus they apply nicer, are made from 100% human hair, and can be used up to eight times.
First up, is Feline, a tapered lash that adds a ton of flare to the outer corner. These lashes look more intense in the box, than they do once applied, but they still manage to add great length and volume. I did have to trim them to fit my smaller eyes, but that’s nothing usual for me.
Next, is Dollface, which is hands down my favorite lash I’ve tried from House of Lashes. They are super dramatic, and add tons of volume. But, they definitely have that “fake” look, so if you’re into more natural looking falsies these aren’t for you. Like the Feline lashes, I had to trim these to fit, but the quality is great and they don’t lift at the edges like a lot of cheaper lashes do.
Since I professed my love for their lash adhesive, I figured I’d throw a teeny little review of that as well. Retailing for $8, this lash glue is latex free and waterproof for all day hold. It comes packaged in a slim tube, with a fine brush tip applicator that makes application a breeze.
As I’ve mentioned previously, this is the first lash glue I’ve found that doesn’t make my eyes feel like they’re on fire. It applies white, dries clear, and keeps lashes on for hours. Just be sure to remove them with plenty of oil-free makeup remover or cleansing water. DON’T just pull the lashes off, trust me, it will hurt! 😯
Sadly, the Spring Fling 15% off sale just ended this past weekend (talk about my timing right?!), but with or without a discount these lashes are a steal. Even their luxe line is affordable, at $12-14 a pair. If you’re a lash addict, or a newbie who wants to try them for the first time, these high quality affordable falsies are a must try!
Have you tried these? Let me know what your favorite lashes are!

I use their glue too! Saw Queen of Blending recommend it a while ago and had to get it. Love the Dollface lashes!
I haven’t found anything better so far! I tried the Velour lash glue, and the packaging is really awful, so I ran back to this one!
I never would have thought that Feline would look so natural on the eye. They are gorgeously full and pretty.
I was quite surprised too. In the box they looked almost scary, but they are so fluttery and light on the eyes! 🙂
Those lashes are gorgeous! I can’t believe how natural they look!

Aren’t they stunning?! I love the price point too!
Lash glue To me is like mascara. I’m always on the hunt for something better. I have not tried this brand but I have to because I have yet to find one that I love and keep coming back to. I also love how these lashes look. I don’t wear them often but when I do, I need them to look fantastic and full and these both do.
I’m always on the hunt as well since my eyes are sensitive, and this one so far is the best and easiest to use. I tried the Velour lash glue and it was awful, so I recommend avoiding that one!
I think you have mentioned the House of Lashes glue previously as your favorite. It sounds like it really stays on. I need to practice more before I buy more lashes. I had that mishap at Christmas time where I used the permanent lash glue for individual lashes to regular lashes and I didn’t have any permanent lash glue remover. I am still a little gun shy 😉
Oh my gosh I remember your story about that lash glue mishap, I would be weary of lashes after that as well. This glue is very gentle though, and I promise it comes off 🙂
I don’t think I’ve heard of House of Lashes but now that I have I’d love to try them. Your eyes look gorgeous with them on (and I’m sure without!).
I hope you try them out, they are great quality and a great price 🙂
Wow, Julie these lashes are stunning! I have recently been in love with the “piece-y” lashes, they draw more attention to the eyes. I want to look into getting some now!
I’ve become so addicted to lashes and trying out new styles. I really love the chunkier ones too, they scream fake, but they photograph so nice! lol
They look great on you! Very natural and not at all overdone. You should do a post on how to deal with falsies for dummies. I can never get falsies right and my natural lashes are non-existent 🙁
Falsies are such a pain to learn! I struggled at first too…they were crooked, or ripped out my lashes, or I didn’t wait for the glue to get tacky…yeah I’ve done it all and learned from those mistakes lol. I’ll try to see if I can create a step by step tutorial! 🙂
The lashes are really pretty on you. I’ll have the check out the rest of their line.
I hope you do! They offer great styles for great prices! 🙂
I’ve never got the hang of falsies, but the Feline ones look gorgeous on you! They look natural but still add loads of volume <3

Falsies take some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be hooked! 🙂
These lashes look great! I thought they looked a bit heavy at first but they look really lovely on xx
I was worried they would look to intense as well, but once applied I was quite happy with the result. Lashes can look so deceiving in the package!
