It’s time for a mid-week beauty review! If you’re a lover of blush, than hide your wallet, because today’s post will have you racing to the beauty counter. Recently, Clinque expanded their Cheek Pop blush line, releasing eight new gorgeous shades. It’s no secret that blushes are my weakness – but add in a floral design and soft nude shades, and it’s pretty much love at first sight!
Each blush retails for $21, and can be found at Bloomingdales and Sephora. However, they should be available at most major department stores by next month. Many of them are currently sold out, but they are part of the permanent range and will be restocked.
Here’s what Clinique says about these blushes:
Discover pure, natural cheek color that looks virtually powderless. Its unique, patented technology transforms pure liquid pigment into a smooth, silky powder through a process of slow baking, leaving true color—from compact to cheeks. This silky smooth, stay-true formula creates a vibrant, healthy-looking glow without a trace of powder residue.”
The lineup includes twelve shades ranging from soft nudes, to bold pinks. Today, I have just four to show you, but believe me I wanted them all 😆
Pansy Pop is a soft lavender with a satin finish. The pigmentation is light, but buildable, and the formula is silky and smooth. It’s not powdery or chalky like most other pastel shades, and it leaves behind a gorgeous glow.
Plum Pop is a bright plum pink with a satin finish. Like Pansy Pop, this one has a gorgeous sheen, but it’s not sparkly or glittery. The formula is silky and the pigmentation is great.
Melon Pop is a soft warm peach. This shade has light pigmentation, but it’s buildable and it’s a breeze to blend. The color payoff is really subtle though, so I don’t think this would work on darker skin tones.
Heather Pop is a muted pink nude. It reminds me a lot of NARS Doucer or Tarte Exposed. It’s easy to wear, and applies really nicely. Like the other three it has a luminous sheen, but it’s very subtle, so you can still wear a highlighter with it.
So far I’ve tested a few shades on my cheeks, and they each wore nicely for about 3-4 hours, so I wouldn’t consider them to be extremely long lasting. But, they are definitely natural looking and not at all cakey or powdery.
SWATCHES
These aren’t the most creamy blushes I’ve swatched, but they blend nicely and the color payoff is buildable. If you’ve been lusting after these, I suggest giving them a try. They are stunning both on the cheeks, and in the pan! But, you’ll want them all…so don’t say I didn’t warn you 😉
Have you tried these Clinique blushes? What shade is your favorite?

They are such cuties, but I think that they should wear longer than 3-4 hours!
I agree, they didn’t last long on me at all – but I haven’t used them with a setting spray yet so they *might* get a little more staying power that way!
I keep seeing these around and overtime I do I’m like they look so gorgeous!!! The swatches make them even more enticing too. Loving the packaging!
Aren’t they so cute?! I almost didn’t want to swatch them!
They look so cute! Melon Pop and Heather Pop are my favourite from your selection 🙂 x

I know, it was definitely hard to swatch them, but thankfully the floral design held up nicely! lol

Pansy pop is SO pretty! I admit, that Clinique never really appealed to me in the past but they are really stepping up their game with these blushes and their new lipsticks are great too, review coming soon on those! 🙂
Oh wow these are sooooo pretty I dont think I could use them haha they just look so beautiful! xxx
Aren’t they adorable?! They are almost too pretty to use! lol
So pretty – I’m most attracted to Pansy and Melon, but I’m not sure I can pull either of those off!
I was most drawn to Pansy as well, it’s such a beautiful lavender….fingers crossed it looks good on the cheeks!
These blushes are so pretty, I want them all! I love the pigmentation and the packaging is super cute!
They are definitely addicting, I already want 4 more! lol
I LOVE the flower design, it is so dainty. I have actually been searching for a lavender blush and Pansy Pop looks perfect! Let me know if you know of any others. 🙂
I’ve also been on the hunt for a lavender blush, so I knew I had to get Pansy. I think Sephora just released a similar shade in their blush range, but I haven’t tried out their formula. Let me know if you pick this one up! 🙂
Pansy Pop is so pretty and I love the flower design of the blushes a lot
That’s one of my fav shades too!
Love these! I can’t decide on just one.
It was hard to choose just four, let alone one! lol
Such pretty colors! And the petal design is so cute. Love Clinique products, love their chubby sticks but next time I am on the hunt for a blush, I’ll keep an eye out for these. http://www.yummomummo.blogspot.com
I haven’t tried their chubby sticks, but I heard they released a highlighter stick and I’m so eyeing that! 🙂
I want some of these just because they are so adorable.
That’s pretty much whyI got them too lol 😉
Heather Pop and Melon Pop are my kind of shades but I won’t buy because I know I’ll NEVER dip a brush into that design. Or maybe I’ll get Heather Pop to worship from afar.
It was definitely hard to swatch them, they are just so pretty!
First, the design is supppper cute! I am also loving the colors. They are so springy and fresh. I have very few Clinique products so these look impressive to me.
Clinique has been impressing me with their recent launches, I mean can blush get any cuter than this?! lol 😉
Oh, I think I would love Plum Pop! What a pretty color for spring and summer! I always seem to forget about Clinique, but I’ve been hearing a lot about these blushes and they look gorgeous!
What gorgeous summer shades!! love the packaging too!
First of all – your photographs = amazing! I think that those sold me on these blushes alone! LOL! But seriously, I need melon pop right now, perfect summer shade! Fantastic review ma’am!
I LOVE these! Gorgeous swatches and photos! I have Pansy Pop and Heather Pop and love them both. Clinique killed it on the packaging and design of these!
