Face of the Day {17 April 2015}

It’s finally Friday! After my last Trash or Stash, I got a ton of questions about the Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes Palette. These soft neutral shadows were my go-to for many years, so I figured it’s time to finally feature them in a Face of the Day!

EYES…First, I applied MAC Vintage Selection Paint Pot all over the lid. It really helps shadows pop and adds a hint of shimmer. Using the Big Beautiful Eyes Palette, I placed the lightest shade on my lid, the medium shade in my crease, and the darkest shade in my outer corner and lower lash line.

I lined my upper lash line and water line with Urban Decay Crash, placed Urban Decay Venus (from the Naked Basics Palette) in my inner corner and finished off with some gorgeous falsies from House of Lashes. They were only $7 and wow, they are stunning!

FACE….I didn’t have a ton of time today (I’m dealing with a cranky toddler and a sick husband), so I went with products that are fast and easy. This Peter Thomas Roth CC cream has been mentioned on my blog a gazillion times, but I seriously can’t get enough of it. It’s full coverage and it’s good for your skin, I’m obsessed!

CHEEKS…I went with my trusty duo, the Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and Tarte Amazonian Clay Peaceful. I reach for these two all the time, they pair so well together! Then, for some extra glow, I applied a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick to my cheek bones.

LIPS…I reached for a gorgeous nude gloss from CK one, and paired it with MAC Staunchly Stylish lip liner. The combo is really subtle and perfect for casual day looks. Just don’t mind my chapped lips. I’m testing out the Aveda Lip Saver, and my lips need to be saved from it. It doesn’t work for me at all  😥
