Spring officially begins in two days, YAY! With the changing of the seasons comes a ton of new makeup releases. It can be hard to keep track of them all, so to make things a little easier, here is a list of some products that I think are worth trying!
WHAT I RECOMMEND
1) NYX Prismatic Eyeshadows – These affordable shadows are creamy, pigmented and come in a variety of shades that are perfect for spring. My personal favorites are Mermaid and Golden Peach, see swatches here!
2) ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Blushes – The unique cream texture of these blushes, paired with their soft color payoff, makes them perfect for Spring. There are a ton of beautiful shades available, and at $8 a pop it’s hard to choose just one!
3) YSL Rouge Volupte Shine – I’ve mentioned these lipsticks about a thousand times, but I just love how hydrating they are. My favorite shade for spring is #15 Corail Intuitive. It’s a warm peachy nude that goes with any look!
4) NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation – Formulated to withstand humidity, this natural looking foundation is the perfect choice for the warmer months. It feels light on the skin and it leaves behind a gorgeous glow. You can read my full review here!
5) Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Bikini-tini – When the temperatures soar, I prefer a quick wash of color on my lids. Cream shadows, like this one from Benefit, are great because they are opaque enough to wear on their own and they last all day without creasing or fading!
WISH LIST
1) YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil – Because I love the YSL lipsticks so much, my heart nearly skipped a beat when I saw these new oil based lip glosses. They are so supposed to be really hydrating and shiny with a hint of color, which sounds perfect for spring!
2) Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed (Limited Edition) – This gorgeous copper blush can be used all over for a summery glow, or it can be used on the cheeks for a bronzed effect. The shade is probably too dark for you porcelain beauties, but it would be stunning for those with medium to dark skin tones.
3) Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water – Although spring weather is great for the soul, warmer temperatures can cause makeup to meltdown. A setting spray, like this new one from Smashbox, will help keep foundations in place and can give your blushes longer lasting power.
4) Stila Exclusive Convertible Color Palette – Does it get any better than a palette full of Stila Convertible Colors?! 😆 If you haven’t used these before, they are cream colors that can be used on your cheeks or lips for long lasting color. The effects are soft for a “just left the gym” sort of flush.
5) Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette – Oh Too Faced, you get me every time. If these shadows are anything like their others, the are smooth, pigmented and a dream to blend. The mixture of pastels and brights makes this fun palette perfect for spring time looks!

The color pop blushes are super cute and I definitely am with in needing the Too Faced palette!!
The ColourPop blushes are so unique, they have a squishy texture and leave behind the most subtle wash of color!

I am definitely going to get the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless foundation. I love my Sheer Matte but this sounds better for the humid months ahead.

I’ve seen you wear those YSL lipsticks a lot and they always look great on you. Their new Tint in Oil got my attention too!! Also, That Stila palette looks amazing! There is SO many colors in there and a little bit goes a long way. Im in love!
I almost feel bad for all the other lippies in my collection because I so favor my YSL shades. I haven’t seen the Stila palette in person yet, but I have a feeling I will buy it the second I see it! lol
I have been eyeing that palette from Too Faced, but I know I won’t use it. I love Macarons so I know it’s all about the packaging for that one. I have a lot from Colour Pop but have yet to try the blushes. I was using their shadow Cheeky as a blush for almost a year, since I bought it last year and enjoy it. 🙂
